8 Kitchen Storage Hacks We Love

Follow these clever tips and tricks that make the most of any kitchen design.

Hello, I'm Maxine Brady. I'm an Interior Stylist working for Magazines and TV shows. I also have my own an award-winning interiors blog called WeLoveHome. And, today I’m also a guest blogger for Hehku Heavenly Spaces

Let me talk you through my 8 top storage hacks for your kitchen. Follow my hand-picked ideas to make your kitchen design work harder.

HACK 1. Rather than a run of cupboards, how about open under-counter storage? It’s ideal for stashing cook books safely out the way when not in use. It also makes a great display area in your kitchen too.

HACK 2. If you want a kitchen full of clean lines, then you have probably been looking at space-saving pull-out drawers. My tip; keep them clutter-free with compartmentalized dividers that hold items in place, making the most of every inch.

HACK 3. In your kitchen design, go for one large larder unit that can hold a year’s supply of cooks delights. This one has extra storage in the doors for spices, jars and condiments. Keep it looking neat and tidy by decanting all your dry goods into see-through storage jars.

HACK: 4. Have you got extra space at the end of a counter? Then how about making a feature of this in your room. Here the coastal theme has been continued with pretty accessories. My Tip: I love the metal pull-out drawers, pictured here which are so handy for root vegetables.
